Good morning!

Don't forget to declare your swimmer for Monday's meet by tonight! Again, we work on the line-ups over the weekend, so we need to know who all is attending. Last minute changes can be made on Monday, but they must be made before 11am. We merge with the opposing team at that time and then no changes can be made.

Patti Wilder! We tend to have many Arbor Bridge swimmers attend this fun and local outside meet. The meet is held at our very own Mountain View Aquatic Center off of Gordy Pkwy the last weekend of June. This is done after our season has ended. If you are interested, please see this link for more information, or you can search for Patti Wilder 2026, and/or see the pages posted in the windows of the clubhouse for general information. 

Also, please see this google form to sign up your swimmer as we send in the payment made as a whole. One form per swimmer. You can make your payments via Venmo to @Arbor-Bridge-Swim memo "Patti Wilder Fee - (swimmer's last name)" for your swimmer. Any relays will be paid by Arbor Bridge, so if your swimmer is interested in a relay, do let your coaches and coordinator know! Individual events are $7/each, limited to 3 and 2 relays. Again, relays are paid by Arbor Bridge.

• 13-18 y/o swimmers swim ONLY on Friday (prelims and finals)
• 9-12 y/o swimmers swim ONLY on Saturday (prelims and finals)
• 5-8 y/o swimmers swim ONLY on Sunday MORNING (these are finals)

Entries are due by Sunday June 14th. Payments are due by Monday June 22nd.  

**Important notes**

• Bring your child(ren)'s birth certificate(s) in the event they qualify in their race to swim for State - top 3 in each event qualify
• Must declare within 30 minutes of their event they qualify in if they intend to swim for State. If you wait till the end of the meet to declare your swimmer, you forfeit your spot for the event you qualify in. It is best to see the front table once the event is complete with all heats to declare.
• The only events to have a qualifying time are as follows: 5- and 6-year-old 25 freestyle and 25 backstroke - 70 seconds (not 90 seconds) 
• Qualification: Swimmers ages 7 and up who place in the top 3 overall of their individual events at the Patti Wilder Meet automatically qualify. Relays are formed later from these individual qualifiers.
• We will hold optional practices after our season ends in the mornings that Wednesday and Thursday - June 24th and 25th - times TBD based on participants. Open warm-ups begin Thursday evening at 5pm at Mountain View Aquatic Center.
• In 2026, the state meet takes place on July 25th–26th at the Columbus Aquatic Center (1603 Midtown Dr, Columbus, GA 31906).

Again, a lot of information, I know! We encourage all of our team to attend the Patti Wilder to get the chance to swim for State. This is also an opportunity for those who do not swim year-round to try and swim for a harder meet to really challenge their talent and earn those ribbons and medals!
