This is a reminder that time trials will be held today during practices! If your child is set to compete in meets, we will be having a mock meet to give them a test run, and to test our timing system.

If your child is under 5 and/or unable to be in meets due to age or otherwise, they do not have to come to practice tonight. Remember, to compete your swimmer must be able to make it across the pool with very limited assistance such as the ropes or walls and under 90 seconds before each meet. If they cannot meet the minimum requirements by the first meet, that is not to say they wouldn't by the next! We can always test them again as they progress. 

We will need volunteers to help with the timing system during your practice time. Please see Beverly and Shaun by the clubhouse if you are able to help! This is so coaches can focus on the swimmers and guide them as needed.

Also, please don't forget to pick up your caps/shirts/suits (if ordered) if you weren't at practice Friday! They will be available at the clubhouse in a ziplock bag with your child's last name on it. Every swimmer gets at least a cap and shirt.

Upcoming dates: 

• Monday 18th - time trials
• Wednesday 20th - NO practice
• Thursday 21st - AM practice begins
• Friday 22nd - Picture day (bring suits and shirts and arrive at 9am) + declare swimmer for Tuesday's meet
• Monday 25th - NO practice
• Tuesday 26th - First HOME meet - you must declare your swimmer by Friday the 22nd to be swimming in the meet. Go online to our website and sign in. Go to Meets and Events and locate the first meet. There you will see the RSVP is open.
